Old Stud belts -- As seen on the hips of Madonna, Leonardo DiCaprio, Jessica Simpson, and Billy Bob Thornton, Old Stud Belts by L.A. - based Jeff Fuller are all the low-rise rage. A former Illinois farm boy now selling his high-end hip-hugging belts to the stars, Fuller started collecting old Western Belts when we he was reselling vintage Levi's in the Nineties. Some of the belts had names stamped on the back; a few had jewels embedded in them. "Like what a wealthy Montana cowboy in the 1930's would wear," Fuller says. Over the years Fuller ended up with a warehouse full of belts. These became the inspiration for Old Stud Belts, Fuller's line of vintage belts. Each gently worn belt is studded by hand, with nickel-plated brass studs treated to look old or plain without any studds.  Old-time designs like snowflakes, flowers, and diamonds can come with turquoise, tiger's-eye, and moonstones or you can get them with no stones as well. No two are alike, but they do have something in common: "There's a certain type of person who's attracted to these belts --  people who respect craftsmanship, who also like antique furniture, and maybe have a ranch house," Fuller says. "They're like art. There's a lot of spirit in each one."
